God is Faithful

Dearest Brothers, Sisters, Family, and Friends,

I am writing this quick note to let you know how God is already showing His faithfulness to us.
I spoke with my boss at USIS on Tuesday and told him of our Call to work with the Church and my need to go to Part Time. He was understanding (which was a huge answer to prayer). He said that if it were up to him, he would find me something to do, but he does not make those decisions. He told me that he has had other investigators ask to move to part time, but HR always says no (I thought to myself, "Yeah, but what he and HR does not know is that God is in control of this request"). Wednesday morning I received an e-mail telling me that I CAN move to part time. Praise the Lord! This is a great blessing because a part time job with USIS will pay me more money than most other part time jobs.

I also want to express our deep appreciation for all the encouraging words we have received from some of you in the last couple of days. We really feel God's comfort through you all. He is working through you to continue to build our faith and resolve in following His path for us. We are so blessed to have each of you in our lives.

Another praise - we have already received an offer of support to assist in providing for our needs as we dive into the ministry. I have no words to express how much that means to us. I have not responded to the offer because I am not sure how to. It is so humbling to be cared for SO much by God and the community of believers that one would offer their own resources to help sustain ours. I know that this is part of being a missionary for God, I just had no idea how wonderful it would feel to be loved in this way. My eyes are welling up as I sense the movement and faithfulness of God all around us. He is so very good to us, so much better to us than we could ever deserve.

Please know without a doubt that we are overwhelmed by all of your support in prayers, words, resources, etc. God is listening to all of you as you lift us up to Him. He is answering! Take a moment to really soak that in...The God of the Universe and Creator of all things is listening to YOUR requests, and not just listening with a deaf ear, but answering YOUR requests because YOU mean everything to Him, YOU mean enough to Him to sacrifice His own Son so that YOU are made righteous in His sight which allows YOU to approach Him with YOUR requests. Wow, that is awesome! Jade and I (and Caleb as he grows) will strive everyday to honor God and the support He provides through those around us by giving all we can to the work He has for us.
